Make a crepe paper flower

Learn to make an everlasting flower! In this class, participants will transform flat paper into a rather realistic windflower (also known as an anemone). Learn about the parts of a flower and ways to recreate and construct them with European crepe paper. Choose from DC flag colors (white or red) for your flower. No experience necessary and all supplies provided. Participants will be working with nontoxic white craft glue, powdered pastel, paint, and scissors. It's not particularly messy, but color and glue will likely get on your fingers, so dress appropriately.
