About this class
In this introductory class, participants will explore the basics of watercolor painting and how water, pigment, and paper interact. We’ll experiment with basic techniques like gradients, color mixing and layering, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, and different brushstrokes. In the second half of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to put these techniques into practice by creating your own mini painting. This class is a great opportunity to learn, experiment, play with the materials, and see where the paint takes you! No prior watercolor experience necessary.
