About this class

In this 5 lesson course, participants will: 0 - Learn to package, tag, and release applications via GitHub pipelines (DevOps 101) 1 - Learn the fundamentals of containers (Containerization 101) 2- Learn how to leverage Docker and Kubernetes (Orchestration 101) 3- Understand hosting options (Raspberry Pis, Neo Clouds, etc.), and secure, encrypted networking components such as Cloudflare Tunnels and Tailscale networks. 4 - Learn security practices for after Day 0 - how to keep libraries updated and deployments up to date via pipelines By completing this course, participants will be able to code (vibe or otherwise) any application and securely host it on the open web using either their own hardware or a hosting platform of the choice. The entire flow from idea -> app -> hosting mechanism -> app release -> app updates will be covered. Personal laptop strongly encouraged for each class.
