Fundraising
Overview
The fundraising working group is responsible for raising funds for the Co-op as well as managing the budget and finances. The working group will:
- Create an annual budget
- Organize an annual fundraising gala
- Apply for government grants
- Work with IT to improve the finance related features of the member management system
- Analyze costs and work with activity leaders to set material donation fees
- Maintain nonprofit tax-exempt status and good standing by submitting mandatory annual filings to the IRS and state authorities
