Overview

The fundraising working group is responsible for raising funds for the Co-op as well as managing the budget and finances. The working group will:

  • Create an annual budget
  • Organize an annual fundraising gala
  • Apply for government grants
  • Work with IT to improve the finance related features of the member management system
  • Analyze costs and work with activity leaders to set material donation fees
  • Maintain nonprofit tax-exempt status and good standing by submitting mandatory annual filings to the IRS and state authorities
